Fabian
Fabian Dämmich, born in Henstedt-Ulzburg in 1995 and raised in Hamburg, studied acting at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. Before his studies, he was a member of the youth clubs of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, ‹backstage›, and the Ernst Deutsch Theatre, ‹Performance plus›. In 2015, he was assistant director for Leonie Böhm's graduation production ‹Die Möwe›, which premiered at Kampnagel. During his studies, he performed in ‹lauwarm› and ‹Die unendliche Geschichte› (director: Mathias Spaan) at the Junges Schauspielhaus Hamburg and in ‹Die rote Zora› (director: Thomas Birkmeir) at the Thalia Theatre. In 2019, his year won the ensemble prize and the students' prize for ‹Besiegt am Feld des Lebens› (director: Jörg Pohl) at the national competition for drama students. Fabian Dämmich has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Basel since the 20/21 season and developed the first classic production of ‹Don Karlos›.
