Evelinn Trouble, real name Linnéa Racine, was born in Zürich in 1989.
Aged 13, she started writing songs with her first band and became a freelance artist straight after leaving school. In fact, her final school project was also her debut album. Since then she has produced and released four albums and several EPs. Evelinn has repeatedly received awards for her work, which occupies a place somewhere between avant-garde and pop, including the Swiss Music Prize, becoming the youngest winner in its history. Her music is a hybrid of disparate musical styles with many dynamic highs and lows. Evelinn's lyrics are melancholic-philosophical and deal with the darker side of life. She has composed music for film, TV series and theatre and has appeared on stage as a musical performer in productions by Thom Luz, Schorsch Kamerun and Stefan Pucher. From 2013 to 2017, she lived in ‹exile›, first in London and later in Berlin, where she furthered her training in vocal studies. Today, she splits her time between Basel and Zürich. She regularly gives concerts at home and abroad with her all-FINTA* band. Her fifth studio album ‹Longing Fever› was released in October 2021 and won the ‹Indie Suisse Album Of The Year Award›. Evelinn Trouble is a devout feminist, atheist and leftist. Further, she has been diagnosed with zero tolerance for Nazi trolls.
