Emily Adomah is a singer and composer from Bergen, Norway, currently living in Basel, where she is studying for a Master's degree in Open Creation at the FHNW School of Music. She holds a bachelor's degree in classical singing from the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig, Germany, and is currently exploring various forms of experimental music. Her work ranges from contemporary composition and improvisation to electronic sound art, where she explores the relationship between sound, environment and human experience across time and space. Adomah has collaborated with Norwegian art institutions such as Lydgalleriet, BEK and EKKO and has performed at festivals such as Ultima (NO) and VoxLab (NO). In 2025 she will make her debut as a composer for theater with music and sound design at the Norwegian Theater in Oslo. The ballet ‹Julia & Romeo› will be Adomah's international debut as a singer.
