Charlotte Müller is a graduate of the Bochum Drama School. Her first engagement was at the Berliner Ensemble in 2005, where she worked with Claus Peymann, Philip Tiedemann and Martin Wuttke, among others. A further engagement took her to the Freiburg Theatre from 2008 to 2014. Here she worked with directors such as Marcus Lobbes, Christoph Frick, Felicitas Brucker, Bernadette La Hengst, Sylvia Sobottka, Johanna Wehner and René Pollesch. She later appeared as a guest in productions at the Schauspielhaus Wien, the Staatstheater Hannover and the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. Since the 22/23 season, she has been permanently engaged at the Staatstheater Cottbus under the co-direction of Armin Petras, Franziska Benack and Philipp Rosendahl, where she met Milena Michalek and Antú Romero Nunes as part of the Lausitz Festival, among others. The co-production ‹Empusion› is her first guest appearance in Basel. In addition to theatre, she regularly works in radio. She lives with her family in Berlin.
