Charlotte Spahn is a dancer, musical theatre performer, actress and dramaturge. She completed her musical theatre studies and her diploma as a stage dancer in Vienna in 2023. At the same time, she also studied theatre, film and media studies as well as musicology at the University of Vienna, which she also completed in 2023 with an excellent bachelor's degree. She is also completing her Master's degree in Dance Studies at the University of Music and Dance in Cologne. Since then, she has performed in the musical ‹Ein Heldinnenepos› (director: Hannah Bacher, Theater Arche Wien), the opera ‹Eugen und Onegin› (director: Shira Szabady, Schlosstheater Schönbrunn) and the musical ‹notaMUSEd› (director: Klara Kalhil, Sophia Mirwald, Off Theater), in which she appeared on stage as a musical performer and also worked as a choreographer. In the opera ‹Carmen› (directed by Arnaud Bernhard, Steinbruch St. Margarethen), she also performed both as a dancer and as a stunt dancer. Charlotte Spahn will be dancing in Paul Abraham's operetta ‹Märchen im Grand-Hotel› at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the 2023/24 season. As a tap dancer, she took part in the feature film ‹The Performance› (director: Shira Piven). Since the 25/26 season, Charlotte Spahn has also been working as an assistant dramaturge at the Cologne Opera. She can be seen as a performer in Mozart's opera ‹Die Zauberflöte› at Theater Basel in the 25/26 season.
