Carla Pérez Mora is a contemporary dancer, who was born and raised in Barcelona. She began her artistic training in ballet and then focused on contemporary dance at AREA and Varium (Barcelona). She completed her training with intensive residencies at The Place in London and danced with MED Ballet Junior. After graduating in Pedagogy from UAB in 2008, contemporary dance became the main focus of her career. She has worked with numerous choreographers and companies, such as Ramon Oller, LaTaimada, Cia SenZaTemPo, Erre que Erre Danza, La Fura dels Baus and Kernel Dance Theater. In 2018, she relocated to Berlin and has since participated in projects by Ivan Pérez / Song of the Goat Theater, Francisco Lorenzo, La rebelión de las aburridas and director Christof Loy, to name just a few. Her growing interest in other scenic languages has led her to start training in theatre techniques. Besides being an actress, she is a member of Dans Invitro, an association in which she creates choreography, develops and teaches dance projects for the community and organises artistic and cultural events. She was part of the creative teams for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima and the closing ceremony of Expo Dubai 2020, and is currently artistic coordinator for Cavalcada de Reis in Barcelona. In 2021, Carla received her PG diploma in Dance Movement Therapy.
