Berman Musician

Anton Berman, who was born in Moscow in 1983, received his first piano and composition lessons in Russia, where at a young age he wrote several compositions for children and youth theatre projects of the Roland Bikov Group. Since 2000, he has been composing stage music for Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspielhaus Graz, Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles, Schaubühne Berlin, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspielhaus Hannover, Schauspiel Essen, Staatstheater Mainz and Maxim Gorki Theater, plus many more. Anton was a full-time theatre composer at Theater Aachen from 2005 to 2008. Besides working for various theatres, he also collaborates with the dancer and choreographer Ido Batash of Les Ballets C de la B in Israel, the dance company ESPZ in Italy, and the choreographer Margarita Tsironi. He is a member of the trio IGRA and the electro-dance band BABA DUNYAH, and is active as an improvisation and performance musician in various projects. Anton is also the founder and director of the International School of Bikeballet and Ballet Design Istanbul.
