Meyer Costume design

Anaïs Laure Meyer is a textile and surface designer from Basel. She completed her studies in textile design at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2021. In spring 2023, she began working as a costume assistant at Theater Basel, where she designed textile print motifs for the costumes of various productions. There she worked mainly with the theater's ballet ensemble and had the opportunity to collaborate with choreographers such as Bobbi Jene Smith and Saburo Teshigawara. Anaïs Laure Meyer's work is characterized by a deep passion for the hidden narratives in fabrics. Her creative focus is on the play of color and the movement of materials. Anaïs Laure Meyer worked with choreographer Tilman O'Donnell on the costumes for ‹Der Fall› and is designing the costumes for ‹La Cenerentola› in the 25/26 season.
