In 'Die Tiefe des Raumes', the dramaturgy of the infamous 90 minutes meets the classical, austere form of the oratorio. A large orchestra, a choir, four soloists and three reciters tell the life story of a footballer - from the football pitch to the Super League, from street footballer to model professional. Composer Moritz Eggert has written a version of his football oratorio for FC Basel and its opponents. Swiss football legends such as Beni Huggel and commentator Beni Thurnheer as well as fans become the protagonists of the 'Football Oratorio for Basel'.
