Boxing and Brecht
Between amateur and professional fights, the Basel company performs texts, scenes and songs by Bertolt Brecht. The numerous parallels between theatre and boxing fascinated the author. He wanted his audience to judge the actors as if they were fighting sportsmen. The Basel event series 'Boxeo' has been combining boxing and culture in glamorous formats since 2001. With European champion Gabi BALBOA Timar and neo-pro Nori Jashari as well as the competition team from Boxclub Basel, the best boxers in Basel are at the start.
