The venues of Theater Basel are equipped with an FM radio audio system. For performances in the Grosses Haus, Kleines Haus and Schauspielhaus hearing enhancement is available if required. Please make yourself known at the Infodesk. On providing a deposit (I.D. card) you will be lent a hearing enhancement (either a neckloop or a universal receiver).
To optimise your hearing pleasure you are welcome to bring your own headphones, in-ear phones or receiver (Sennheiser 840) along with you.
If you happen to own an FM-receiver by HUMANTECHNIK for home use (either Radio Ligth DIR II or Radio Ligth LR II) you can also use this receiver to access analogue signals in all three theatres.
Please consult your hearing aid technician about the best way of connecting to our system. Further information is also provided by the hearing aid advice centre at the Schwerhörigen-Vereins Nordwestschweiz in Basel:
